These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Citizenship Exam 2026 – USA app (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Not affiliated with the U.S. government

The App is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency.

The civics questions and answers, reading and writing vocabulary, and test rules in the App are based on public information published by USCIS. Official information is available for free at uscis.gov/citizenship.

2. Not legal advice

The App is for study and practice only. It does not provide legal or immigration advice, and using it does not create an attorney–client or any other professional relationship. Information about eligibility, exemptions (such as age-based exemptions) and the interview process is general and may not apply to your situation. For advice about your case, talk to a licensed immigration attorney or a DOJ-accredited representative, or contact USCIS.

3. No guarantee of results

The App helps you prepare, but we do not guarantee that you will pass the naturalization test or interview, or that your application will be approved.

The practice score shows how much of the question set you have learned in the App. It is not a prediction of your test result.
The Virtual Officer is a simulation. Real interviews, officers, questions and the way answers are judged may differ.
Answer checking (including speech recognition and optional Apple Intelligence checking) is automatic and can make mistakes in either direction.

4. Accuracy of information

We work to keep the content accurate, but questions, answers and test rules can change, and some answers depend on current officeholders (for example, the President, your senators, your representative and your governor). These can change after elections or appointments, and the App's information may be out of date. Always check the latest official information at uscis.gov before your interview.

5. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial study, under these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

You agree not to:

Copy, sell, rent, redistribute or publish the App or its content, including the officer voice recordings, except as allowed by law
Reverse engineer or extract the App's audio, data or code, except where the law allows it
Use the App for any unlawful purpose

6. Our content

The App's design, code, text written by us, graphics and audio recordings belong to Mosaic Minds Studio LLC or its licensors. The officer's voice is AI-generated audio, not a real USCIS officer, and "Officer Michael" is a fictional character. Public U.S. government material in the App remains in the public domain.

7. Your device and permissions

Some features need permissions, such as the microphone, speech recognition and notifications. You can grant or refuse them in your device settings. Some features may not work without them. How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. App stores

If you got the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store's terms. For apps downloaded from the Apple App Store:

These Terms are between you and Mosaic Minds Studio LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, or consumer protection claims.
Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending or settling any claim that the App infringes someone else's intellectual property rights.
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ITS CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR UP TO DATE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOSAIC MINDS STUDIO LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING THE RESULT OF ANY TEST, INTERVIEW OR APPLICATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US $10 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Changes and termination

We may update, change or stop offering the App or any feature at any time. We may update these Terms; the new version applies from its effective date, and continued use of the App means you accept it. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [your state], USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
